because email that is sent with PHP Mail generally gets flagged as spam by mail servers and also can take some time to send. See below how to configure SMTP mail service.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul class=\"is-margin-small-bottom is-margin-small-top\"><li class=\"is-margin-small-bottom\"><strong>PHP Mail (not recommended)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This option is selected by default for users that do not want to configure other mail services.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  vc_custom_1550583834570\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul class=\"is-margin-small-bottom\"><li class=\"is-margin-small-bottom\"><strong>WP Mail<\/strong> \u2013 This option uses WP mail WordPress function for sending emails, and it is best to use if you use some third-party plugin for sending the notifications.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  vc_custom_1557220577950\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul><li class=\"is-margin-small-bottom\"><strong>SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)<\/strong> \u2013 Let&#8217;s configure SMTP mail service for <strong>Gmail<\/strong>, but you can set it up for any other outgoing service that supports SMTP for a mail client. When you select this option, five inputs will appear \u2013 you need to populate them in to configure SMTP properly.
