Plume launched\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/circuitbreaker\/2016\/12\/5\/13837804\/plume-wifi-mesh-router-pod-now-available\">in late 2016<\/a>\u00a0and has been selling its first router straight to consumers ever since. That changes today with two big announcements.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eiCdNk\">First, Plume is launching a more capable, tri-band router called the SuperPod. (Its normal router is called the Plume Pod.)
