Romantic Escapes Celebrities Swear By This Winter

Taylor Swift’s jet touched down in NYC Monday during Travis Kelce’s bye week.

The pop star’s security team — along with their signature wall of umbrellas — surrounded the plane as it landed at Morristown Airport in New Jersey.

She dressed comfortably for the trip, sporting white track pants and a black sweatshirt, and shielded herself with an umbrella of her own as she exited the cabin.

Though it is unclear who the pop star arrived with, a staff member was seen carrying a cat backpack that could contain one of three of the Grammy winner’s cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson or Benjamin Button.

Swift was driven to Dogpound Fitness in NYC directly after landing where she also made a discreet entrance and exit.

Taylor Swift’s snake-print boots

Taylor Swift fans may not be getting those “Reputation” vault tracks any time soon, but the pop icon still has a soft spot for snakes.

For proof, look no further than the outfit she wore for a night out with pal Gigi Hadid in NYC Monday night: a classic black Auter peacoat ($1,450) paired with a pleated miniskirt and a snake-print bag ($975) and boots ($1,775) from one of her longtime favorite labels, Stella McCartney.

Both accessories may appear to be crafted from real snakeskin, but in keeping with the company’s animal-friendly, cruelty-free ethos, they’re actually fashioned from YATAY M — a vegan alternative made of mushroom mycelium, the root-like structures of fungi.

“Every year, over 500,000 pythons are killed for fashion in Southeast Asia alone,” the Stella McCartney team shared in a press release, adding that production of YATAY M “never [harms] animals.”

Swift’s been a fan of the brand’s cruelty-free creations for the past decade, often incorporating them into her street style looks.

in 2019, she and McCartney partnered on a capsule collection and pop-up inspired by the musician’s “Lover” album. (The designer even scored a shout-out in Swift’s track “London Boy.”)

McCartney dressed Swift for her “Evermore” album shoot the following year, sharing on Instagram at the time that “knowing someone well makes creating something for them easier.”

Added the British designer, “With Taylor, everything happened so naturally; the pieces I made reflected the effortless emotionality of her album. Complementing a friend’s creation is rare and precious and feels incredibly special.”

Taylor Swift dines with Gigi Hadid

Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid were spotted enjoying a girls’ night out in New York City Monday night.

The stylish duo were photographed wearing coordinating fall ensembles as they left Manhattan hotspot Zero Bond following a low-key dinner together.

For the outing, the “Wood” singer, 35, rocked an oversized sweater, a plaid skirt, snakeskin boots and matching clutch.

She completed her look with an oversized peacoat, stacked gold necklaces and her stunning engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce.

The 30-year-old model, meanwhile, wore a dotted blue and pink shirt with black leather pants and matching boots.

She paired her outfit with a velvet, floor-length coat.

Earlier in the day, Swift was spotted climbing out of her private jet under a large umbrella after landing at Morristown Airport in New Jersey.

She dressed comfortably for the plane trip, donning light sweatpants with a black sweater.

The “Fate of Ophelia” crooner then made her way to Dogpound Fitness in NYC before stepping out for dinner with Hadid.

Swift’s return to NYC comes after she seemingly missed Kelce’s game against the Buffalo Bills in Upstate New York on Sunday.

Since they began dating in 2023, Swift has missed most of her fiancé’s away games due to security concerns.

However, during this football season, Swift has remained lowkey while attending the Chiefs’ home games, even going to the lengths of hiding behind a screen when walking into Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

Although she was spotted strutting through Arrowhead during the Oct. 27 game versus the Commanders — and even was featured on camera — a source told the Daily Mail that Swift “has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues.”

The insider explained to the outlet on Tuesday that the singer “doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day” because “she wants to be safe, and she wants her family and friends to be safe.”

Additionally, Kelce, 36, was not “having the best season the first few weeks.”

With all this in mind, Swift has reportedly made “a little more natural progression” toward being “less out there and attracting attention,” the source claimed.

However, the Grammy winner allegedly hasn’t “asked the NFL and the various networks to stop showing her on TV during any of the Chiefs games.”

In fact, per the US Sun, she’s reportedly spending an extra $2 million this year on security, bringing the total to $8 million.

Taylor Swift reportedly beefs up security by $2M

Taylor Swift has reportedly beefed up her security by $2 million as she continues to steer clear of the spotlight at her fiancé Travis Kelce’s NFL games.

The couple has now agreed to spend $8 million per year on a security team to ensure the pop superstar’s protection at the Kansas City Chiefs player’s matchups and elsewhere, according to the US Sun.

Swift’s movements are reportedly being constantly monitored, and her schedule is being pored over by her expert security detail to ensure maximum protection.

In fact, a source told the outlet that two new experts were recently hired to make sure she is “100% safe and comfortable all the time.”

The Chiefs have also reportedly been making sure that game days — as well as visits to Kansas City, Mo. — are a pleasant experience for her.

“The measures at Arrowhead Stadium are important for her,” the source said. “She knows she is always the center of attention and wants to avoid that if possible.”

The singer-songwriter’s heightened attention to safety reportedly stems from both her latest stalker, Brian Jason Wagner, and the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk.

Swift, 35, was recently granted a five-year restraining order against Wagner, who had shown up at her Los Angeles home and claimed she was the mother of his child.

As for Kirk, the conservative influencer was fatally shot in September while speaking at a Utah college during a stop on his American Comeback Tour.

“There is a concern about recent tensions, and Kirk’s murder didn’t ease that,” the US Sun’s source explained. “She is seeing America getting tense, which is creating a feeling of unease.”

Per the source, Swift knows she “is someone who can never live a normal life, so her safety and security are a top priority.”

The Grammy winner has notably not been photographed walking into an Arrowhead Stadium game all season — even sneaking in from behind a screen on one occasion.

She has been shown on the big screen a few times, celebrating from the comfort of her VIP suite, but the sightings have been considerably fewer than in past seasons.
